‘Koch’boro Bridge due

Mayor Bloomberg delivered a surprise birthday gift yesterday to Ed Koch, announcing he’d ask the City Council to rename the 101-year-old Queensboro Bridge for the 86-year-old former mayor.
The measure would be likely to pass.
State lawmakers also voted to rename the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel after former Gov. Hugh Carey — an idea Koch has pushed for months.
