The Los Angeles Music Center and Timothée Chalamet are in a “pas de deux” after the star called it boring.

The music center, one of the largest in the US, trolled Chalamet in light of his comments by offering a 20% discount on ballet performances this summer.

“Use code CHALAMET at checkout to save on select seats to @nycballet and the Superstars of Paris starring @humarchand here at #MusicCenterLA this June and July. #wecare #supporthearts @tchalamet,” the center wrote in an Instagram post Tuesday.

Their move follows the Seattle Opera, which announced a similar discount last week, calling out the “Dune” star.

“We’ll be the Chalamet to your Timothée @seattleopera 🩰✨🎶 Inspired by our friends in the Pacific Northwest, we’re giving you 20% off tickets to see incredible #ballet here in #LosAngeles this summer!” the Music Center wrote.

Chalamet faced a backlash after comments at a town hall with Matthew McConaughey, where he said he did not want to work in ballet or opera because “no one cares about this anymore.”

He described both art forms as “dying” while reflecting on his career start and the difference between pursuing movies versus traditional performing arts.

The remarks came during a Variety/CNN town hall aired on Feb. 21, where Chalamet emphasized that while he respects performers keeping these genres alive, he personally preferred acting in film projects that attract wide audiences.
