A Los Angeles rapper was slashed in his face at a Big Apple hot spot early Tuesday morning, police sources said.

Lowell Grissom, a recording artist who goes by the name Everybody Knows LO, was at The Anthony Club on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village when he was cut sometime before 3 a.m., the sources said.

“He was attempting to leave,” a police sources said. “He was struck from behind with an unknown object.”

The rapper then ran down the block and took a taxi to Beth Israel Hospital, cops said.

He was taken into surgery. The three friends who were with him were uncooperative with cops.

Grissom was in the city staying at a Times Square hotel.
