‘Laser’ pilot’s woe
The JetBlue pilot blinded by a laser-wielding idiot on the ground while descending into JFK was still feeling the effects of the potentially catastrophic incident yesterday.
“I have a little bit of blurring in one eye,” said Robert Pemberton, the first officer aboard Flight 657 from Syracuse, who was struck by a laser beam Sunday evening, forcing him to give up the controls.
