Green laser beams were aimed at two planes as they were landing at La Guardia Airport, authorities said yesterday.

The first incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, when Jet Link Flight 5978 approached Runway 4, a Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said.

Less than hour later, a similar scare took place as United Flight 766 came in.
