The midday press conference where HUD Secretary Ben Carson is expected to announce a deal to overhaul the city’s embattled Housing Authority has been delayed — by a late train.
HUD spokesman Raffi Williams confirmed that Carson’s train to Penn Station got held up in Baltimore.
A new time for the press conference has not yet been set.
The delays added an additional bit of drama to the proceedings as the half-million New Yorkers who live in the city’s struggling public housing projects await news on the future of their homes.
