The Scarsdale lawyer accused of fatally stabbing his pediatrician wife — and then having a smoke — pleaded not guilty to murder and weapons charges Tuesday.

Suspect Jules Reich appeared disheveled and exhausted during the 10-minute hearing at the Westchester County Courthouse. He was wearing a dark gray suit with no tie and a partially unbuttoned shirt.

Reich’s arraignment on second-degree murder and misdemeanor weapons charges came almost two months after he allegedly killed his wife, Dr. Robin Goldman, in January.

Reich was uncuffed Tuesday just long enough to sign protective orders for his three adult children.

“This case is tragedy for everybody that’s involved,” said Reich’s lawyer, John Pappalardo, who asked the press to respect the family’s privacy and declined to answer questions.

Reich was returned to jail after the hearing. His attorneys tried to free him on a $150,000 bail in January, but prosecutors balked.

Reich’s next court appearance is scheduled for April.
