Lawyer sues ‘deadbeat’ pol
City Councilman Larry Seabrook is struggling to repay legal fees racked up during 2003 and ’05 Campaign Finance Board audits, according to a suit filed by his former lawyer.
The Bronx Democrat hired Laurence Laufer to defend him after The Post revealed that he paid his brother and campaign manager, Oliver Seabrook, $43,000 of $71,000 he got in city matching funds. The pol was fined $500 and forced to return $2,596 in funds.
