An athletic-apparel maker is crying foul against Nike’s LeBron James line of sneakers and clothing.

In papers filed in Manhattan federal court, Milkcrate Athletics accuses Nike of bigfooting its name and logo with its “confusingly similar” James items.

The filing notes that Milkcrate uses a milk crate as its logo, while Nike’s Zoom LeBron Soldier II has a milk-crate pattern and the words “milk crate” on its sole and Nike’s LeBron V sneaker has the words “milk crate” on the top of the shoe.

The suit seeks unspecified money damages and asks that Nike be ordered to recall products using the words “crate” and “milk crate.”

A representative for Nike didn’t return a call for comment.
