Levi Aron liked to spend his Saturday nights at a Long Island bowling-alley dive bar, belting out off-key karaoke tunes with a DJ pal, The Post has learned.
The confessed child killer was a regular at NJ Grunts at South Levittown Lanes, where his buddy David Barsky, 52, hosted karaoke shows until June.
The bowling alley is part of a family fun center with a pool out back that’s often full of kids.
But one source described the place as “a land of misfits,” and workers said Barsky dropped the singalong gig shortly before Aron kidnapped, poisoned and chopped up 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky of Brooklyn.
Investigators want to know who interacted with Aron in the secluded and seedy saloon, sources said.
Aron, described as a slow-witted loner aching for “American Idol” fame, said when he was busted last month that he took Leiby upstate to a wedding before drugging him and suffocating him in Aron’s Brooklyn attic apartment.
Barsky, meanwhile, is being held at Rikers Island on a charge of driving without a license.
