More than a year into office, Mayor de Blasio is struggling to break 50 percent in his approval rating, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Friday.
The poll found that 49 percent of voters think de Blasio is doing a good job, while 40 percent don’t.
White voters’ negative rating was offset by an avalanche of support from black voters — a consistent trend in all polls.
Gov. Cuomo, meanwhile, was in the political clouds with 71 percent of city voters saying he’s doing just fine and 23 percent dissenting.
The poll was conducted between Jan. 7 and Jan. 14.
