One of city Public Advocate Letitia James’s staffers was arrested for assault early Saturday after hurling a shoebox at her daughter.
Adrienne Felton, 49, also threw a utensil at the young woman during an argument inside their Harlem home, police said.
Felton, who earned more than $52,000 last year as an outreach coordinator in the James’s office, was charged with assault in the 1:30 a.m. incident.
Her 24-year-old daughter called cops to report her mom’s actions but refused medical attention. Felton is awaiting arraignment.
The Public Advocate’s office is reviewing the matter, a spokesperson said.
