Cops will wear cameras the size of a business card that clips onto their belt or lapel to record interactions with civilians, if Public Advocate Letitia James gets her way.

The cameras “provide an objective record of what really happened as opposed to hearsay,” said James on Thursday.

The police union said it’s open to James’ pilot project but wants some proof that the cameras work.
