A Long Island man was arrested on child pornography charges after getting caught snapping photos of a 5-year-old girl at Jones Beach State Park on Saturday, officials said.

The little girl’s mother noticed North Babylon resident John Meehan, 21, taking pictures of her daughter during the annual Memorial Day weekend Bethpage Air Show, according to the state Parks Department.

The mother alerted nearby park officers, who intervened and discovered Meehan was also in possession of child pornography, the department said.

Meehan was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and second-degree unlawful surveillance.

Authorities also seized all of the computers from Meehan’s home for further investigation.

He was arraigned Sunday and held on $50,000 bail.
