Police arrested a Long Island woman for animal cruelty yesterday after finding five malnourished dogs and one carcass in the back yard.

Sharon McDonough was charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty after her 21-year-old son called the group Rescue Ink, claiming she was torturing animals, killing them and burying them in their yard, said SPCA chief Roy Gross.

Cops at the Selden home found five dogs that were “skin and bones” in tiny cages. A search of the yard yielded one animal carcass, he said.
