A 5-year-old Long Island boy who was critically injured when a drugged-out driver rear-ended a truck in which he was riding died from his injuries yesterday, authorities said.
The West Islip boy was riding with his parents and siblings in a Dodge pickup on Sunrise Highway on Saturday when they were struck from behind by a car driven by Steven Kinalis, 30, of Ronkonkoma, authorities said.
