A young Suffolk County woman was found stabbed to death in her apartment yesterday, cops said.

The body of Laura Pizzini, 25, was discovered inside her Mastic apartment at 12:30 p.m., when a relative came to check on her, a police official said.

A motive for the slaying was not immediately clear, but there were no signs of forced entry, a police spokesman said last night.

The victim worked for the Forge River Nursery and Garden Center on Montauk Highway in Mastic.
