Bedbugs’ latest conquest is a public library on Long Island.

An announcement on the Huntington library’s Web site yesterday said it would be closed until Tuesday for “cleaning.” The nearby Huntington Station library is to stay open.

Bedbugs have been reported in the Empire State Building, Lincoln Center and hotels and apartment buildings from coast to coast.
