CORNWALL, Conn. — Connecticut officials have identified a Long Island man who died after his kayak tipped over in a raging river in Cornwall.

Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection officials said yesterday that Kenneth Wallace, 54, of Huntington Station, rolled over and came out of his kayak near the covered bridge in Cornwall over the Housatonic River. His body was recovered more than two hours later.
