WESTBURY, N.Y. — A 59-year-old man is accused of exposing himself to a 7-year-old girl inside a Long Island store.

Lautaro Zambrano of Port Washington has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, stalking and public lewdness.

Nassau County police say the incident occurred at a Wal-Mart in Westbury around 3:25 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say the victim was in the children’s clothing section with her mother when the defendant began to follow her.

They say the girl ran to her mother who notified store security.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Zambrano had a lawyer. He was set to be arraigned later Monday.
