A Garden City pharmacist walked into an Atlantic City Chevy dealership, asked to take a look at a $71,000 Corvette — and drove off with it, New Jersey police said.

Simon C. Dolmaian, 42, didn’t bother to put down any money on the sports car, even though he had $40,000 in cash when Port Authority police finally caught up to him around 7:30 p.m. Friday on the Jersey side of the Holland Tunnel, according to PA spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

Dolmaian, who owns a pharmacy in Sunnyside, Queens, and allegedly had a stash of illegal prescription pills with him, was awaiting arraignment while being held yesterday in the Hudson County jail in Kearny, NJ, on charges of driving while intoxicated, theft and reckless driving, police said.

It’s the second time in a month Dolmaian was nabbed for alleged driving drunk in a fancy car. Police in Southampton accused him of causing a three-car crash in July after allegedly driving a Porsche while intoxicated. Those charges are pending.
