A Long Island woman who was busted last May for robbing people while posing as a phony cop was allegedly framed for the crimes by her ex-boyfriend, officials said.

Seemona Sumasar, 35, had been accused of holding up people at gunpoint on Long Island and in Queens while dressed as a police officer after a pair of witnesses pointed the finger at her.

She was held in jail since her arrest, but the witnesses later told cops they were paid by her ex, Jerry Ramrattan, 38, of East Elmhurst, Queens to tell the false tales to cops, authorities said.

The witnesses said Ramrattan even coached them on what to say, including giving partial license plate numbers to the woman’s sister’s car and picking her out of a lineup.

“Jerry Ramrattan’s tangled web of deception and manipulation created a nightmare scenario for this innocent woman,” said Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice.

“Once my office became aware of the new evidence, we worked quickly to release Sumasar and to arrest the defendant.”

Sumasar was released from jail yesterday after six months. Ramrattan was charged with conspiracy and perjury and ordered held on $1 million bond.
