A Long Island man has been arrested for stealing 22 bronze vases from a cemetery, police said yesterday.

Shaun Dosch, 26, of West Babylon was arrested Saturday after cops were tipped off that he was stealing cemetery vases, Suffolk County police said.

Dosch stole 22 bronze vases from Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale over the past several months, police said. He intended to melt them down and sell them for scrap, cops added.

Dosch was to be arraigned yesterday on charges that included possession of stolen property.

Information on an attorney for Dosch was not immediately available.
