A young Long Island woman was struck and killed by a city garbage truck in Williamsburg today, cops said.

Katherine Yun, 25, was crossing Broadway near Driggs Avenue when she was hit by a DSNY truck driving eastbound on Broadway at about 7:15 p.m., cops said.

A passerby called 911 but Yun was pronounced dead at Woodhull Hospital.

Cops said no criminality is immediately suspected.

A DSNY spokeswoman said, “the entire tragic event is under investigation.”

Yun lived in Syosset and graduated from Syosset HS in 2004.
