A middle-aged pervert molested a 9-year-old girl in a New York Public Library branch on the Lower East Side, cops said yesterday.

The unidentified white man grabbed the girl by the shirt, covered her mouth and fondled her before fleeing the library on East Broadway and Jefferson Street at about 5 p.m. Thursday, police said.
