A former top aide to Osama bin Laden got sentenced to life in the slammer for a second time yesterday after claiming the Sept. 11 attacks and Hurricane Sandy were “God’s punishment” on America for his conviction.

Wadih El-Hage, 52, repeatedly wiped tears from his eyes during a lengthy, rambling statement before finally being silenced by Manhattan federal Judge Lewis Kaplan.

El-Hage was convicted in 2001 of conspiring in the deadly bombings of two American embassies in Africa, but the life term imposed at that time was tossed on appeal after the US Supreme Court eliminated mandatory sentencing guidelines.
