Connecticut Senate candidate Linda McMahon yesterday body-slammed Democratic rival Dick Blumenthal for teaming with Planned Parenthood to dig up demeaning images of women broadcast by her pro-wrestling firm.

Democratic consultant Andrew Grossman told a Blumenthal aide Planned Parenthood was seeking “misogynistic photos of women and World Wrestling Entertainment,” reads a copy of an e-mail obtained by Politico.com.

“Planned Parenthood wants to hit LM hard on it. What do we got?” a Blumenthal campaign spokeswoman e-mailed the state Democratic Party.

The McMahon campaign cried foul, saying there was “clear and incriminating evidence that Dick Blumenthal [was] not only engaged in potentially illegal coordination but that he [would] stop at nothing to hold on to power.”

The Blumenthal campaign defended the dirt digging as legal.
