The district attorney who prosecuted Amy Fisher and Long Island Rail Road gunman Colin Ferguson has died.

Former Nassau County District Attorney Denis Dillon was 76. A spokesman says Dillon died yesterday from lymphoma at his home in Rockville Centre.

He served as district attorney from 1974 to 2005.
