Embattled city Comptroller John Liu will hold a fund-raiser next week as he seeks to regain his political footing amid a criminal probe of his campaign operation, The Post has learned.

Liu will collect donations Tuesday during a breakfast gathering at Campanile restaurant on the East Side.

The feds on Feb. 28 charged former Liu treasurer Jenny Hou with illegal fund-raising. In November, they charged Liu moneyman Oliver Pan with collecting illegal straw donations.

Liu has maintained his innocence.

It’s unclear for what office Liu is raising money.
