Embattled city comptroller John Liu tonight strongly suggested he’ll run for mayor next year, despite a criminal probe of his campaign finances.
“I”m going to keep going. I’m going to go all the way!,” Liu said during a rally on his behalf in Harlem.
Liu’s defiant words come just hours before his ex-campaign treasurer Jenny Hou was to be arraigned on charges in Manhattan federal court of scheming to funnel illegal donations to his campaign.
Hou will plead not guilty in court. Liu dedended hou and his fundraising efforts.
