AT&T wants to call in a $1.6 million debt from a rogue locksmith company working out of The Bronx.
The phone giant filed a civil suit this month in The Bronx, saying the company, Dependable Locks, set up a nationwide call center in the borough and skipped town more than a year ago without paying the massive bill.
Dependable Locks’ lawyer, Ed Williams, blamed AT&T, saying the telecom company had pulled out of the contract.
