This year it’s smooth sailing at Central Park’s boathouse.

The Loeb Boathouse unveiled a new floating plastic dock last week, replacing a rickety, six-decade-old wooden one.

The dock will stay up a few years until a wooden structure is built, but Parks Department staffers say patrons are already enjoying smoother take-offs.
