A Brooklyn laptop thief learned the hard way that LoJack can locate more than just stolen cars, cops said.

Eric Wilson, 41, smashed a rear window of an apartment on Park Place near Buffalo Avenue in Crown Heights at 2 p.m. on July 3 and swiped a computer and jewelry, police said.

The stolen laptop was equipped with LoJack software that does for computers what LoJack hardware does for cars — allows them to be tracked.

Cops traced the software signal to Wilson’s Dean Street apartment, where they busted him Wednesday, sources said.
