A Long Island health care worker was busted after she allegedly gave a 92-year-old woman a black eye, Nassau County police said.

Andrea Richards, 48, was helping residents at an assisted living facility in Garden City on Monday when she socked the elderly woman in the face, leaving the nonagenarian with a black eye and severe pain, officials said.

Richards was arrested a day later at her home in St. Albans. She was charged with assault, endangering an incompetent person, and endangering the welfare of the elderly, cops said.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the aide to hit the woman.

Nassau County detectives said it was possible that Richards had injured other victims, and asked anyone with information to come forward.
