NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. — Police are investigating a drowning at a residential pool on Long Island.

Nassau County police say Chang Kwack was observed going under the water in distress at his pool in New Hyde Park Thursday night.

They say family members pulled the 51-year-old man out and called police.

CPR was performed on Kwack at the house. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say no criminality is suspected.
