A Long Island man squabbling with his girlfriend took his anger out on two of his pooches — stabbing one to death and injuring another, Suffolk County police said.

Police were investigating a report of a domestic incident with a man and his girlfriend inside the Brentwood home around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday when they discovered Malik Fields, 25, had stabbed two of his family’s pet pit bulls, police said.

Storm, a 1-year-old canine, could not be saved.

Police provided a photograph of the other injured pup, Chocolate, who was taken to Animal Medical Hospital of Centereach with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators discovered four other, uninjured dogs inside the home.

Fields was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals. He was also barred from interacting with animals.

He is due to appear before a judge on Wednesday.
