A Long Island shooting suspect led police on a wild pursuit into Queens Sunday night, law enforcement sources said.

The man opened fire on his ex-wife in Holtsville, in Suffolk County, at around 9:30 p.m. before leading police on a roughly 45-mile chase that ended on Cross Island Parkway near the Whitestone Expressway, the sources said.

The man’s ex was left in critical condition and taken to a nearby hospital.

Investigators recovered a weapon at the shooting scene, sources said.

The bloodied suspect was caught at around 10:30 p.m. and taken to a nearby hospital, sources said.

It was not clear whether the man injured himself or if the blood had come from his ex-wife.
