FARMINGVILLE, N.Y. — A Long Island woman is accused off buying drugs while her two sons and a niece sat in a nearby car.

Suffolk County police say the transaction occurred in the parking lot of a Farmingville hotel on Thursday night. Police say the sale was conducted inside a car while the children sat in another car. The woman’s sons were described as under the age of 12. The niece is 19.

Police also recovered packages of cocaine and other drugs.

The Ronkonkoma woman was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child and loitering.

The children were released into the custody of a family member.
