The city’s plan to roll out shared cabs in Manhattan is running more than a month behind schedule — and the busiest intersection in the world won’t be getting its own taxi stand.

The shared-cab program — where groups of two or more can share a taxi and pay a discounted fare — was slated to hit the streets before the new year.

But the Taxi & Limousine Commission has delayed the rollout until late January, according to a city spokesman.

And the city is already cutting back on some proposed taxi stands before the program has even begun. After surveying enthusiastic theater owners, the Times Square Alliance requested a taxi stand on West 44th Street to pick up Broadway theatergoers between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. on weeknights.

But the TLC has axed the proposal for now.
