Think it’s chilly in the Big Apple? It was so cold in Buffalo last night that a car parked along Lake Erie froze solid — and became an overnight tourist attraction.

Lake effect snow and ice, combined with freezing temperatures and fierce winds, ultimately led to the vehicular ice sculpture, which was first spotted early Monday on Rt. 5 by local ABC affiliate WKBW.

Photos have since gone viral and people have even been seen lining up to get their picture taken with the car — which was fitted with a spoiler and appeared to have a body kit.

“Now people are showing up to take pics with the frozen car on Route 5,” (It’s def not going anywhere for a while),” tweeted News 4 Buffalo reporter Lauren Hall.

Schools were closed in Buffalo on Monday as a result of the wintry conditions.
