It was an epic gravy train, but only a handful of the 99 percent showed up for the ride.
Operation Wall Street organizers prepared nearly 5,000 free Thanksgiving meals yesterday to be distributed at Zuccotti Park, but a mix of about 1,500 protesters, homeless people and freeloaders turned up for the brown-bag dinner consisting of turkey, stuffing, gravy, pumpkin pie, sweet potato and bread.
“I came down for the free Thanksgiving meal,” said David Bull, 50. “I don’t want to pay even $10 for this!”
