As political scandals go, Weinergate isn’t exactly shocking Americans’ senses.

Anthony Weiner’s downfall ranked last in a poll of “worst” political sex scandals that was full of surprises, including Bill Clinton’s fling with Monica Lewinsky placing only second.

Among eight scandal-tainted pols, the “worst” was former Sen. John Edwards, who got 38 percent of the vote compared with 21 percent for Clinton and only 3 percent for Weiner, according to the Public Policy Polling survey of 520 voters.

Weiner was tied with former Gov. Eliot Spitzer.
