Accused UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione spent his first night back in the Big Apple under the same NYC federal prison as disgraced rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The two inmates, who are both awaiting trials for their respective high-profile federal cases, are locked away at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Mangione was arrested on Dec. 9 over the suspected killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

The 26-year-old Baltimore native landed at Long Island’s MacArthur Airport before being flown into Manhattan Thursday afternoon, landing at the South Street Helopad street helipad, from where authorities transported him to Manhattan federal court.
Mangione faces an 11-count indictment levied against him by state prosecutors in the Dec. 4 fatal shooting of Thompson outside the Hilton in Midtown.
He is due to return to Pennsylvania on Feb. 24 for a preliminary hearing over criminal charges in the Keystone State.
Combs is sitting behind bars at the Brooklyn lockup facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The jail itself has faced intense scrutiny in recent years amid a spate of vicious inmate attacks and complaints about dismal living conditions — including worm- and maggot-infested food, filthy cells and power outages.
Along with Mangione and Combs, the complex has held notorious sex abusers R. Kelly and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Last week Mangione hired high-powered lawyer Karen Friedman-Agnifilo to represent him.
Friedman-Agnifilo is married to Marc Agnifilo, who has been representing the rapper as he battles sex-trafficking charges.
