A greedy mother and daughter who were responsible for turning their city-owned Bronx building into a co-op stole about $30,000 in rent money, authorities said yesterday.

Former Tenant’s Association president Arlether Middleton, 64, and her daughter Twana Rose, 38, the group’s secretary, were arrested and charged with stealing money that was supposed to go toward managing 783 E. 168 St.

The building was slated to be turned into a low income co-op.
