Accused monster mom Carlotta Brett-Pierce calmly deflected a prosecutor’s sharp questions yesterday about the death of her daughter, Marchella, denying that she starved or beat the 4-year-old to death.
Just days after jurors heard graphic tapes of phone calls in which Brett-Pierce, 32, ranted, “That b —-h was not that f—ing light” about the skeletal tot, she turned on the sweetness.
“Potato chips, cheese doodles, fried chicken,” she said while answering questions from her lawyer about what she fed Marchella, who weighed 18.9 pounds when she died in September 2010.
