Madam ‘bond’age bid
She may yet make her son’s high school graduation, but accused madam Anna Gristina will still likely spend this weekend in jail as her family and defense team scramble to post her newly reduced bail of $125,000 cash or $250,000 bond.
“We’re looking forward to bringing her home to her family,” said lawyer Norm Pattis, making special mention of Gristina’s two sons, one of whom graduates June 20 from high school.
Gristina, who lives in upstate Monroe, insists through her lawyers she doesn’t have two nickels to rub together. Prosecutors say they’ve caught Gristina on tape boasting she’s made some $15 million in the past decade.
