Bernard Madoff is a “good person.”

Don’t believe it? Just ask his prison shrink.

The Ponzi monster is undergoing weekly psychiatric therapy sessions in the federal pen — and learned that swindling investors who trusted him out of billions of dollars doesn’t mean he’s evil.

Madoff, 72, told New York magazine writer Steve Fishman in phone interviews that he asked the therapist whether he was a sociopath. She assured him he was not — because he felt remorse.

“I am a good person,” Madoff told Fishman.
