Three people were injured when they were hit by a mail truck in Manhattan on Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The three pedestrians were hit when the US Postal Service truck backed onto them near the intersection of First Avenue and East 37th Street in Murray Hill around 10 a.m., police said.

The victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver remained at the scene, where police were investigating the incident.
