In a key indicator that her campaign to unseat Mayor de Blasio is gaining steam, Republican Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis raised nearly $250,000 over the past two months, according to records filed Friday.
She spent $74,097 over the period and has $275,323 in hand.
Malliotakis didn’t enter the race until May and had previously collected $94,646 in her first weeks on the campaign trail.
She has raised $349,421 to date.
De Blasio’s camp said the mayor will not release his latest campaign fundraising numbers before Monday’s deadline, but claimed he’d have $700,000 after matching funds are included for the past two months alone.
As of May 11, he raised $4.3 million and had $2.5 million left.
