Staten Island Rep. Nicole Malliotakis was one of just 11 House Republicans on Thursday night to vote with Democrats to strip Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee assignments.

Greene has been under fire from Democrats in the House and some Senate Republicans, including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, for espousing Qanon conspiracy theories.

Of the many bizarre theories proposed by Greene was one during a 2018 speech when she questioned whether a plane crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11.

Malliotakis’ district, which includes Staten Island and parts of southern Brooklyn, is home to many firefighters who responded to Ground Zero.

More than 270 Staten Islanders died in the terror attacks.

Malliotakis has faced her own criticism for objecting the 2020 election results in Arizona and Pennsylvania during the Electoral College vote that took place after a mob stormed the Capitol in a deadly security breach.
